If you like the rocks, sand washes, cactus, and Joshua trees and best of all clear blue skies and pristine air, then this is the ride for you see  Challenge map. In the High Dessert we have October temperatures in the 70s to 80s that help extend our riding weather deep into the fall season.

This year we still have the Tame 10 mile course for those not into extreme riding. See Tame Ten Map. We have also added a Five Mile Run/Walk course for those who like to feel the ground beneaththeir feet. See Five Mile Run/Walk map.

Ride in the Rocks takes place in the scenic little town of Lucerne Valley, California. We are located just 30 miles north of Big Bear Lake, and 102 miles northeast of Los Angeles.
